I came home early from work today and slept, slept and slept…
Feeling a tad better now and took the opportunity to review and print all our travel documents:

ONE MORE DAY!!!

On this statutory Family Day, I decided to spoil my feet with a nice home spa.
Aaaahhhh.

It’s true that cats are very curious.

If it’s Sunday morning, DR is doing laundry and I’m cleaning house… and after the vaccuming comes the mopping…

The good thing for me is that after it’s done, we have the entire day to do whatever we want and we always come home to that nice Pine Sol fresh scent.

Some updates:

From Day 5: As I’m typing this, BillyDeeWilliams has jumped on my lap and his purring like no other cat can. He’s a happy fellow. His trip to the new vet who was recommended by Postbear was a huge success and guilt free. He had to endure some invasive moves from the vet and her probing finger, but the medicine she gave us and the food recommendation have worked very well… I’m happy to say that BDW has had some good old bowel movements on a daily basis… I’m a proud owner every time I clean his litter box and see his “improvement”

From Day 7: I finished Mini-Shopoholic and must admit that it was my favourite of the series. Other than David Sedaris’ books, I’ve never laughed out loud so much in public while reading. Let’s just say, like mother, like daughter.

From Day 14: We had an amazing dinner on Valentine’s Day, see DR’s post on it… I can’t wait to go back and cook some nice steak on a hot lava rock again.

From Day 15: I went back again and got more after Valentine’s Day chocolates…

From Day 16: VICTORY! I did win the bet and I didn’t have to wash the dirty dishes for it… Someone, between the hours of 1pm and 3pm on Thursday the 17th washed the cups and utensils…

And today is Sean’s birthday: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY FRIEND. We both can’t wait to celebrate in style in Orlando with you and Josh.

Tonight, we went and celebrated Sean’s birthday at the local Bowlarama…

Always fun to be with good friends. Happy Birthday Sean.

What’s the best way to end a fucktard of a day? SUSHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!

Tonight, DR and I took his brother (the Professor) out of sushi. He had treated us to a wonderful meal last month, it was our turn to spoil him. We went to OMI just across the street and it was totally worth it, the best sushi I’ve had. End of discussion.

We finished with the FISH ICE CREAM which name’s scared me a bit, but it turned out to be a fish-shaped waffle filled with ice cream and red been jelly… Yummé!

During our mid-morning break yesterday morning, Scott and I noticed 3 dirty coffee mugs, 2 spoons, 1 knife and 1 fork in the kitchen sink of the lunch room at work. Immediately, I took a bet with him to see how long they’d stay there until someone, hopefully the pigs who just left them all there, would either wash them or put them in the dishwasher (approximately 12 inches away from the sink).

Scott chose Friday.
I chose Thursday.
And Erin, who has been sadly missed for the last 2 days with an eye infection, was given Wednesday (today).

Erin lost.

Fingers crossed tomorrow is the day… I’d be all Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.

And the tradition continues… It’s the day after Valentine’s Day and the Shoppers Drugmart downstairs has all it’s goodies at half price… MMMMMmmmmm…

After much consideration, I finally opted for the $21.99 box of Lindt chocolates in a velvet heart for $10.99…

I wasn’t too surprised when I found some of the boxes opened with some of the goodies gone. Pigs I tell you. Pigs.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY EVERYONE!

We love our Dim Sum on Sundays but I can’t say we have been going a lot in the last year.

This weekend we tried to remedy that with Josh and Sean and arranged to meet in front of the place DeadRobot and I loved to go to in the past. This is what we arrived to:

Gone. Whole place locked up, sign covered… Bu-bye.

We knew of another place, so we all walked there hungry. The line up was unbelievably slow moving, so we left in search of location number 3. We found Mother’s Dumplings on Spadina and went in…. Delicious.

We ate well but I still needed something sweet after this, so we ended up at the nearby bakery in Kensington Market…

Splendid day.

Today we went shopping for clothes for the upcoming vacation. We will spend 4 nights on the Disney Dream and although I know that the dress is casual on that ship, I still wonder if I should splurge for this item:
