A little bit of shameless plugging goes on at SharkBoy today, you may have already noticed the link I have put on my blogroll a week ago. See my sister started her own little company in Vermont where she lives and my duties as a brother for a budding entrepreneur is to help promote it as best I can.
She got interested in macro photography a while back and used the shutterbug website to print some of the pictures on blank note cards to give as gifts to family and friends. I think enough of us told her how gorgeous they were and she finally, with the help of a local Vermonter, decided to venture into a new business:
SylvieSenior.com was born.
The pictures go from the super softness of a white orchid on a white background to the ultra energy of a citrus slice with it’s gorgeous colour and invitation to a brigth day. She also, unlike me, has the immense patience to sit outside in a garden to take pictures of bees in action and snap some great close-ups. It makes for a nice collection if I do say so myself.
Go take a look and see the softer side of my family, it’s not all “complaining and finger pointing and big mouthing” like me.

*waves finger*
These gift cards don’t have any words in them! I want mine to say “Hey Idiot! I love you”
Seriously, I think they’re stunning. But I’m biased.
Thanks Michel for the kind words! Of course the website exists only because of countless hours of hard work from our very own Deadrobot! His first “project” was to create my logo and it is exactly what I wanted: beautiful and feminine, simple and fun! (the bee was Sharkboy’s input). He then created my website even though a lot of it was out of his comfort zone. I can’t thank him enough but I can really say “Hey Idiot, and I love you”!
aaaaaw! When families work together.
Gotta go, the cats are fighting again…
WOW!!!! Very beautiful. I am off to buy some grapefruits – I want one now. I am also very taken with the tulip.
