Well, at least that’s what the doctor said.

So this big bad cold that’s knocked me down for the last week is nothing to worry about as it it a viral infection and will be gone shortly. In fact I already feel better today. Haven’t have a headache in 36 hours, haven’t taken any DayQuils either. The soreness in the throat is all but gone but as the deep cough continues I’m told my lungs are clear.

So I took the rest of the day off after seeing the doctor this morning, he told me to take it easy for a couple of days but I’ll go back to work tomorrow… The last time I took 4 days off work because I was sick was when I had my tonsils removed at 25.

Today, on my last day of rest, I’ll be watching Grease and sing all the songs between coughs. I’ll go see if my new glasses have arrived even if she told me they’d only be ready tomorrow. I’ll continue reading The Catcher In The Rye, I only made it to page 43 before getting all sicky and didn’t feel like reading much while in bed. I might get the sewing out and continue this Spring Project quilt I started.

Hell, I might even make dinner for my husband…
