I always liked this and their Robert de Niro track best
I remember being nineteen, doing the dance moves to Bananarama’s Venus, on-stage in a bar in London. I start therapy next week.
Love it! Bananarama always had a karaoke/amateur quality that was very charming and real. I think that’s why they were so popular, anyone could imagine themselves being one of them! Everything is so slickly produced and choreographed now a days, but these girls had more appeal than anything just being themselves.
I know someone quite intimately who knows a dance routine to a Bananarama song but who will not show it to me for some reason… (Maybe we can team up or gang up and request or force said routine during this weekend’s get together)
