As of late, I’ve been getting out of bed around 6ish while DR bravely leaves to go to the gym, I take out the Wii fit and do my daily body test… I have already lost 11 pounds, but I don’t attribute it to the Wii Fit really which is just a good tool to record improvements/changes, although I wouldn’t be burning calories that much in the morning without the Wii Fit, maybe it’s helping a bit. But the loss of weight is more from the change in diet that DR started and I followed up on… He’s doing really well, little bugger.
Just before he left this morning, I asked him to snap some pix for today’s entry:
After measuring your Centre Of Balance, the Wii Fit also weighs you. It showed me today that my COB was a little to the rigth and that my weight was 198.6… I have lost 0.7 pounds since yesterday. After that is recorded, you can take 2 balance tests… Today I had The Walking Test, you take 20 steps and the idea is to keep perfect balance, basically to put down the feet exactly where you lifted them off from, I scored 87%, down from 100% last time…

Walking Test
My second test was the Steadiness Balance Test where all you have to do is find the perfect Centre Of Balance and not move for 20 seconds, then the screen starts to move around but you can’t, then it dissapears and you still cannot move… I didn’t do that well today, I score 57% down from my 73% last time. That red line shows how much I moved during the test:

The balance tests change daily and some are definitely easier than others.
After the COB and your weight has been measured, they add your score from the 2 balance tests and Wii gives your your Fit Age, the idea being the lower the age the better… Today I scored this:

Uh, I mean this:

I still have to beat 33, my best Wii Fit age to date.
