At one point we saw a trailer home and F150 Truck in the ditch, both upside down and the truck was still attached! It was freaky.

SharkBoy was a trooper and did all the driving and put up with me being really really bored/nervous as hell, in the passenger seat.

I drove through the same conditions on Sunday to get my mom home from our trip to see my sister in North Carolina. And as I was completely pissed at my mom, I then drove home through the same conditions, in the dark. 8+ hours of winter wonderland fun.

Just watching the video of driving in that weather makes me nervous.

But in response to Kezza, it does make me laugh when people from further south ask about chains on tires (or actually whip some out when it does snow there). :)

There is no such thing as snow where I live so can I be really ignorant and ask lots of really ignorant questions?

Okay thanks,

So how fast were you travelling there? Were the roads salted? What car were you in - front, rear or all-wheel-drive? Do you carry chains or use studded tires?

I'm sure the asking of those questions probably have you snow drivers doubled over laughing but over here the worst you get is rain, that whole snow thing would be too much to handle, I've never been any colder than -4 Celcius and even that was almost too much to handle!
