First tale:

This was the weekend to decorate Christmas trees for me. I did this one for work on Friday afternoon… It did get “certain” looks by the majority, but also some good laughs from the cool guys. My good friend Nick saw that something was missing and craftily made me a tree top star:

I like it. It will be nice to have around my desk and bring some colours to a drab office.

Second tale:

Then on Sunday afternoon, after 3 years of not bringing out the Christmas tree at home, we decided to go ahead and do it. Although we do have more room than before, the idea was still questionable as there is a new menace in the name of GeorgeHamilton, the cat who loves to destroy stuff… I took good care of not putting up the 6 most cherished and breakable ones, I’ll keep those in a box until I know for sure GeorgeHamilton will not use the tree as his giant toy.

First, the base

Then, the middle

Then, the top

Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without an angel tree top, in our case, our favourite fairy

Then when it was time to decorate, this happened, that was the first one DR touched…

After he calmed down and realized I wasn’t going into a tizzy, we managed to finish:

Funny how I managed to get DR’s fancy slippers in the pic but not our beloved Tinkerbell…
