Here’s another reason why I’m glad I grew up in the 80′s:
Remember when the keyboardist WAS the good looking one? And he actually moved too?
They are probably my favourite band to date, I buy their CDs when they come out, no questions asked, I’ve not been dissapointed to date, recordings or live concerts.

Yeah, I buy everything the Pet Shop Boys put out as well. They’re consistently good.
The only thing missing from that track was the classic Casio “Dog Bark!”
Great songs though. I DJ’d the crap out of that remake they did with Dusty Springfield back around ’87. Always filled the floor.
“Being Boring” is my absolute favorite song by them, followed closely by “Rent”.
One of my top fave bands EVER, brings back memories from many different times of my life
Oh My God, how vintage is that, Chris getting into the groove as well. Fabulous
I seem to find favourite songs from them continuously.
Being Boring is really at the top, it’s the song / video combo that really sold me on them. One thing I like about them is that they pop up everywhere, come out with tons of remix album, etc. There’s a great song they did with Elton John that should have had a lot more airplay in America, but they seem shun from radio time.
Everyone good is shunned by American radio.
Us former punk/new wave/house/techno types are over it by now. The good side is that with XM, iTunes, etc., we don’t have to swallow the pop crap the big boys like ClearChannel are putting on the plate.
We get two decent channels in Detroit — and they’re both out of Windsor.
